Technical Requirements

  • The Application is available for both Android and iOS devices. Without the store the application cannot be downloaded and installed.
  • It is highly recommended to have the latest OS version on your phone. 
  • Certain Huawei phones might not have Play Store available, despite having Android OS. In these cases the app is unavailable.
  • Internet connection: 
    • 800 Kbps ( ~1 Mbps) upload speed

Starting the application, you will be greeted by the following window. Accessing your account is possible either using your Studio or Model account.

Logging in with your Studio account will prompt to select the Model account which you would like to go live with.

Once the Model account is selected the landing page will show up. Most of the main features of Vibes – Messenger is available from this tab.

  1. Message filter – Tapping this button will let you sort through your messages. (The options available are Unread, Unanswered and Pinned)
  2. Mass Messages – The function is only available towards paying Members
  3. Video Call – The function can be enabled by tapping the slider. The feature automatically disables if there are two or more missed calls in a row.
  4. Messages – You will be able to check Messages received and sent.
  5. Statistics – Account related statistics 
  6. Camera – Taking photos, record videos, open galery, add a note.
  7. Notifications – Account related notifications

Settings

  • You will be able to select the Vibes – Messenger settings directly after tapping the Profile (8) from the main page then the “≡” icon from the top right corner of the application.

Message options:

  • Message price – Price your followers pay for each message they send you.
  • Read receipt enable / disable – Allow members to be notified when you have read their messages.
  • Blur media thumbnails – Enabling this will blur all preview images in your received messages.
  • Blocked Members – List of blocked Members

Live Stream Settings

  • Action request – With this feature, your Members can send you Credits in exchange for specific actions during your Free Chats. 
  • Live Show charge – Price per minute your Members pay for having a private chat with you.
  • Surprise Sounds – While enabled surprise sounds will be played, but no more than once every 30 seconds.
  • Chat:
    1. Mute Guests – You will be able to mute Guests
    2. Disable Free Member Chat – By activating this feature Free Members will not be able to send you messages in Free Chat.
  • Cam2Cam:
    1. Cam2Cam price – This is the extra per-minute price a Member must pay to Cam2Cam with you in a Private Show
    2. Blur Member camera – Enabling this option will blur all Member cams in Private Chat. 
  • Ban:
    1. Always use preset ban duration – Enable / Disable
    2. Ban duration – Members will be banned for the selected duration
  • Chat Automation:
    1. Auto-invite for Private – Enabling this, your visitors will receive automatic Private invitations from you.
    2. Auto-invite message – Set a default message for your visitors when they receive the auto-invite

Going Live

  • Once you started streaming by pressing the Go Live button additional features will be visible.

Options while streaming

1. Camera settings – Tapping the “Flip” button will switch your camera between your frontal and backside one. 

2. VIP Show – Reach a massive audience with our VIP Shows. Convince members to join the show. Convert your new audience into loyal, paying fans!

 

3. Hot Deal – After starting your Hot Deal, you will offer a Private Show discount to Members in your room for 5 minutes. The discount is valid for the entire duration and you will have a timer counting down until the end of your Hot Deal. The Hot Deal ends after 5 minutes and after a 1 hour cool down, you will be able to set another Hot Deal. 

4. Chat related settings:

  • aA – Text chat size
  • Free Chat – You will be visible to everyone who browses through LiveJasmin, and, of course, to those in your room while in the Free Chat area. 
  • Member Chat – This is a “lounge area” designed for You where you can do things that are not allowed in the Free Chat. You may come here to eat, take a phone call, or simply take a break. Also, after your Private Chat ends, the system automatically switches you to back to the Member Chat, to let you prepare (rearrange your clothes, your make-up, etc.) for returning to the Free Chat.

How to set up the toy

  • Before tapping Scan Device, always make sure that you have Bluetooth and Location access enabled.
  • If any of these are missing a pop-up option will show up.
  • While your phone is searching for the toy, make sure that it is set into Pairing Mode. (You will be able to set the toy into Pairing Mode by holding the power button on the toy until the LED light starts blinking)
  • The interactive toy will show up as LVS-***
  • Once selected you will be able to see the battery remaining for the toy and you might be able to rename it as well.
  • You can connect multiple toys at the same time.

Picture in Picture

In case you would like to use the features of the app while streaming, we’ve got you covered with the Picture in Picture feature:

  • You can now leave the site without ending the stream and multitask on your phone with the picture-in-picture feature.

  • On iOS due some OS limitations you can browse only within Vibes.
  • You need to tap on the picture-in-picture icon at the top right of corner of your screen.

Blurred background effect

In case you would like to stream from a public space, for example, a coffee shop or a mall, to avoid unregistered people appearing on your feed enabling the Blurred background effect is required. Here is how to do it:

 

  1. Go live with Vibes – Messenger
  2. Tap on the ‘Blur’ icon on the right side of your screen. 
  3. You’ll have an option to change the intensity of blur on Android
  4. On iOS you besides the Blur intensity you are able to adjust the built in Video Effects, such as Studio Light and Reactions.

Free Chat

The default status of the online stream; while You are in Free chat, visitors can see your broadcast.
You can switch between Free and Member chat statuses with the slide button in the upper left corner.

Private Chat

When taken to a Private chat, a sound alert will be prompted and the user’s name will show up in a yellow block on top of the screen (see reference picture).

Member Chat

During Member chat, visitors will not be able to see your video feed, however you’ll stay online on the site.

Admin Chat

Only LiveJasmin Admins may initiate the Admin Chat. The text color of the Admin name is Blue.

When you are contacted by an admin, you will be able to respond by typing. Please pay attention to the chat and follow the instructions of LiveJasmin admins.

Technical requirements

  • Runs both on iOS and Android devices. 
    • We strongly recommend usage of Android device to receive full app support
  • App Store (iOS) or Google Play Store (Android) is needed to install the application.
    • Certain Huawei phones might not have Play Store available, despite having Android OS. In these cases the app is unavailable.
  • Minimum OS version is decided by app stores, but generally we recommend the latest available OS version. If a device is not compatible, the app can not be installed at all.

Internet Connection

In order to ensure a good quality and steady stream, you need to be able to upload at a minimum of 800 kbps speed. This minimum upload speed is a must have to be able to start the application. You can use both wi-fi and mobile internet connection.
The application will continuously monitor the speed of your connection, and it will send you a notification if a restart is needed to change to Higher or lower quality streaming.


Lighting

You need to be able to provide good lighting conditions even for mobile streaming, consider using portable LED lights which are quite cheap yet still very useful. However there are high-end options here as well, the best lighting always have to be considered based on your style of streaming, whether you prefer to stay fixed to one position or move around more.

Video steadiness

There are many low-budget options out there for you to keep your stream steady, a tripod is an excellent example of this, where a stationary video stream would benefit a lot from it. However, there are of course high-end options as well, which you may consider should you wish to stream occasional movement or even full-motion shots. For the former a monopod could be considered which is a decent option for the task, for the latter, in case of a more active streaming experience, an electric gimbal would fit the task perfectly as it offers you the freedom you need while keeping your stream steady.

Audio

High quality Audio during your streams offers you even more ways to intimately connect to your viewers. Good external microphones are numerous, including reasonably priced analog shotgun and wired lavalier mics, as well as digital microphones that plug into your data ports.

Do not disturb mode

Beware of the possibility of interruptions during your mobile streaming, there are many ways your streaming quality can suffer due to another application conflicting with your MC Mobile Live or even notifications that produce a sound or a pop-up. To ensure you don’t get interrupted, put your mobile device in Do Not Disturb mode before you start.

Gadgets

For mobile streaming, there are plenty of useful additional tools available already. These items can be attached or used alongside with your mobile phone and can provide you a more comfortable streaming experience along with a better quality video or audio feed. Below we list some of these types of gadgets you could be using to make your streams even more appalling to your audience. If you like the idea of some of these below listed products, we recommend you search your local electronics store for such devices or order one from the many online retailers available.

This device can be attached to the top of your phone and most of the time uses an external power source, meaning you do not have to connect it to your phone to power it. Useful when you are on the move and still need some good lighting.

 

Downside is that it slightly obscures the top of your mobile screen.

Phone holder and ring light

With this, you can stabilize your device to avoid the image being shaky and choppy, while you can also setup an easy to position light source to provide better lighting on your face.

 

Downside is that you cannot really move around while your phone is setup on this device.

Ring light with tripod

 

 

 

The tripod is the best choice if you wish to stabilize your phone. The ring light gives superb lighting both for you and your surroundings.

Selfie stick

 

 

With a selfie stick you can fit more into your phone camera’s field of view and thus show more of yourself and the world around you, while you can stabilize the stream a little bit as well. Most useful when you are moving around.

Clip-on wide angle selfie lens


With such clip on lens you can create a wider image that fits more of your environment into your stream.

 

However, such lens can distort the edges of the image, making things (and you) seem slightly elongated and wider than they are supposed to be. Be careful when using these lens.

Principles for being online from Mobile:

  • Respect the already established site rules and policies
    • Don’t show any explicit or provocative content in Free Chat.
  • Watch out for your positioning towards the mobile’s camera, your face should be clearly visible. It takes a bit planning to get it just right.
  • Keep your look and room glamorous
    • Environment:  When streaming from home keep your environment clean and tidy, be streaming from the bedroom or the kitchen. Streaming from an unsuitable environment isn’t allowed.
    • Appearance: Do not look messy. Always make sure that your outfit, make-up and hair is done and you are ready to appear in front of your fans. Being able to go online from mobile opens a lot of further possibilities, but that doesn’t mean that you shouldn’t look your best.

  • It is not allowed to go live while driving the car

Tips and Tricks

To stream the right way, your phone must face you the right way. For example, if you are streaming while laying down on the bed (horizontally), your phone needs to be laying down on its side as well (landscape mode). And if you are streaming standing up (vertical), your phone needs to be standing up as well (portrait mode).

Remember this simple rule, and your fans will enjoy your Mobile Live streams more than ever before!

 

 Below you’ll find all the information you need to create an amazing streaming experience for your viewers from the necessary policies to keep in mind all the way to the best technical setup you can work towards.

  • Do strive for variety: Move around a lot, show your viewers your home or the neighborhood you live in (while keeping unregistered people out of the livestream of course), but also hold cozy nights from time to time, where its just you, your bedroom and your viewers.
  • Do engage all your viewers in your stream and to also focus on what they would enjoy seeing and hearing, while it might be pretty relaxing to have the freedom of mobile streaming in your hands, it is important to make your members relaxed too.
  • Do prepare your surroundings and plan out your stream before starting, so you can adhere to the rules and also have a planned out stream, that will provide even more entertainment for both you and your viewers!
  • Do make sure that your technical setup is adjusted and sufficient before each stream, while webcam streaming usually does not require much maintenance when it comes to technical elements, a mobile stream is more demanding in that regard, so for the best experience, have a list you can go through before each session.
  • Don’t go to crowded places or visit your friends intentionally while you are streaming, unregistered people are still a no-go for mobile streaming.
  • Don’t lose focus from your stream. While it is quite exciting that you can be flexible with your chosen streaming location and do a lot more things with just a mobile phone in your hand, don’t get too distracted from your viewers, since you are all here to have a great time together.
  • Don’t rub your fingers across your microphone.
  • Don’t allow jewelry (like rings) to tap against the phone.

Introduction

Stories are the main window to your world, which gives users their first impressions of you. Use this feature to let everyone know what you’re really all about!

Free Stories are a great way to promote yourself, your content and show your fans your daily routine.

How to use

This feature is now available for both mobile devices and desktops. You can access your Stories through our Model Center apps, or by visiting Model Center on your desktop. You can use any of these methods to add, view, and delete your Stories.

Model Center App : Models must have the latest version of our Vibes Messenger app installed on their mobile devices. Once logged in, you can add new content by tapping the “+” button at the bottom of your screen.

Model Center Desktop/Mobile: Once logged in, you can add your first story in Stories menu

You can choose to create a new photo, video, or upload an existing one saved on your mobile device or just upload an existing media on your desktop. Once uploaded, you can set the content as Free or Premium. Keep in mind that the maximum display duration for videos is 45 seconds.

Please note that Stories may not contain prohibited content. Additionally, Free Stories should not contain any sexually explicit material. You may find more information about site rules here.

Only internally licensed music is allowed. Please use music from the Music Library only

Once uploaded, the latest content will be visible in the Performer’s Story, for up to 24 hours. The content will expire once this time is up.

Expired Stories are no longer available to your Members, so make sure to keep it fresh by uploading more.

Members can check your Story on the site by clicking the thumbnail of your Profile picture once in your room. Premium items in Stories will only be visible to Members who subscribe to it.

Subscription gives access to the content for a week, and Performers can set a weekly price of 3,4,5,6,7,8,9,10,15 or 20 credits. Set this price rate from your Model Center desktop via the Price & Privacy menu found under the Profile tab. This is considered a Level-independent Income.

Daily limit: you may upload maximum 50 stories per day.

Performers can view, edit, delete, and upload Stories by navigating to My Content > Stories. If you want to upload a new Story, go to the new page under My Content and tap the “Add Story” button.

Here, you can check each item of your Story, how long ago they were added, and you may also delete them if needed.

The color of the bar at the top indicates whether an item is Free (white) or Premium (gold).

Content rules and requirements

Following is not allowed in Stories:

  • Explicit content in Free Stories (visible nipples, masturbating, sex toys usage)
  • Unregistered people
  • Any watermark, sign or brand name of other Social media platforms on pictures
  • Vulgar expressions
  • Mentioning of other accounts even if they belong to you
  • Political/controversial content
  • Prohibited content 
  • Copyrighted music
